Beauty Review…Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass…:)

Hey guys πŸ™‚

I’ll be the first to hold my hands up and admit I generally don’t buy into the whole ‘palette hype’ thing but when I saw the Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass one, I nearly peed myself with excitement. I’m a sucker for pretty packaging and this was right up my street!

Here is a look at my new child:

The shades are split into five different character categories and each have four medium sized shadow pans. From left to right: Alice, Mad Hatter, Mirana, Iracebeth & Time.

Here are the swatches:

I have used this for over a week now for the majority of the make-up looks I’ve posted on my Instagram. It has a great range of colours – It’s the kind of palette you could take with you travelling and it would cover all looks instead of packing tons of different palettes (GUILTY!!).

There are some lovely transition shades, matte shades, shimmer shades and glittered shades. On the whole they are well pigmented but there are definitely a couple that are either too dusty to the point of not being buildable or else don’t show up as intensely as they look in the pans. Overall it gets a big thumbs up from me, the price point of €49 for what you get is good value for money and an even more worthwhile birthday present to myself πŸ˜‰

Here are some looks I’ve created with it:

I also bought one of the lipsticks in the shade Iracebeth (a girl can never have too many red lipsticks right?!). This one has a creamy and the colour pay-off is a one slick all day kind of formula. Here is a look featuring both products:

Who was lucky enough to get their hands on some of this collection? Let me know your thoughts πŸ™‚

Until Next Time,

Emma xXx
