Today’s post is about the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel nail varnish. I initially started using this last summer when I left it go too late to get shellac before my holidays and I haven’t looked back since.
For those of you who don’t know the Miracle Gel is a 2 step system that doesn’t require a UV lamp to set it, instead using natural light. The first step is using your colour of choice (and there are quite a few) and the second step is a top coat to seal your varnish.
I’ve built up quite the collection of these (beauty hoarder for LIFE!) and I really couldn’t recommend it highly enough. While it doesn’t last as long as shellac, that suits me perfectly because I like to change my nails up every one to two weeks and it lasts great up to then. For the price tag of €9.99 you get a lot of bang for your buck and don’t have to tear your hair out over it chipping like normal nail varnish five minutes after applying it which is a huge pet peeve of mine!
I love combining this with glitter nail varnish coats and nail art to give it a burst of life and Penneys have a serious selection of nail art options for as little as €1.50.
Here a some looks I’ve created using Miracle Gel:
Shades: Spice Age & Dare to Bare
Sally Hansen have contacted me to ask if they could use my photos on their social media outlets – Major pinch me moment!
These varnishes are available in most chemists & supermarkets – I always find the best offers on them in Sam McCauleys 🙂 If any you create your own looks make sure to post a picture and tag me on Instagram @enjoyably_emma 🙂
Until Next Time,
